Precautions for installation and use of sensors
- When designing and installing the loading device, it should be ensured that the line of action of the loading force coincides with the force axis of the sensor to minimize the influence of tilt load and eccentric load.
- Determine the rated load of the sensor used by selecting the sensor range according the instruction.
- The housing, protective cover, and lead connector of sensor are all sealed and users are not allowed to open them without authorization.
- To prevent chemical corrosion, it is advisable to apply Vaseline to the outer surface of the sensor during installation.
- Avoid using the product in direct sunlight or in places where the ambient temperature changes dramatically. When unavoidable, protective or mitigating devices should be installed.
- To prevent high current from directly passing through the sensor body and damaging the sensor, electric welding is prohibited after the sensor is installed. In case of necessity, bypass made of copper braided wire should be added at both ends of the sensor loading device.
- The sensor wire should be kept away from strong power lines or places with pulse waves. If it cannot be avoided, the sensor wire should be separately threaded into the iron pipe and the connection distance should be shortened as much as possible.
- Wires should not be lengthened by yourself. If they really need to be lengthened, it should be soldered at the joint and sealed with moisture-proof sealant.
- In high-precision applications, sensors and instruments should be preheated for 30 minutes before use. The sensor should be placed in a dry, ventilated room without corrosive gases.
